You do need your QCC student ID to borrow books from the Alden Library. We place a library account barcode on your ID which we use to check out the books to you. If you have lost your ID, you can get a replacement and the library staff at the circulation desk can issue a new barcode to put on it. Keep in mind we currently are not checking out books since summer classes are over. But you may visit the library and use materials here. We will begin checking out books again on the first day of classes, September 2. At that time you will need to get a new ID for the academic year since IDs expire on August 31 each year. If there is a particular book you need sooner, you may request it through your public library.
