It all depends on what type of information you are searching for. With over 70 databases http://qcc.mass.libguides.com/resourcesAtoZ it often comes down to selecting the "right" database and this is often dependent on your topic.

For example, if you are searching for a topic that is psychological in nature I would recommend PsychINFO.  If you are working on an assignment in an Allied Health class (Radiology, Nursing, Respiratory Care, Dental Hygeine, etc.) I would recommend CINAHL plus with Full Text.  For many topics our general academic databases such as Academic Search Premier, or Academic OneFile are best.
